Stability IT ("StabilITy", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through stability.co.za, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you request a quote through our website, we collect the details you enter: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the solutions you tick and any message you add, together with your consent for us to contact you about the request. If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we keep a record of that conversation.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
- To arrange site visits and provide the services you ask for.
- To keep records required for our business and by law.
We do not sell your information, and we only send you marketing if you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Website enquiries are delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit, an email form service. FormSubmit may process your enquiry on servers outside South Africa, so your details can leave the country on their way to us. We use it only to receive your enquiry, and we handle any such transfer in line with POPIA's rules on sending personal information across borders (section 72). We may share relevant details with trusted suppliers and partners only where needed to quote for or deliver your solution, and they must protect it too. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to deal with your request, or as long as the law requires for client records.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights under POPIA
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us processing it. To do so, email info@stability.co.za. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
